What problems we should pay attention to when using FUERDA rubber plastic materials below 0 ? The elastic insulation materials will shrink and become fragile in the low temperature, so there will be large tension in the adhesive gap which probably causes cracks and opening in the gap. As a result, when the temperature is below -50 , the first coating of insulation materials must have greater size than that requested by the pipe diameter, which can be done by using larger diameter of pipe or accordingly adding usage of board. The advantages of FUERDA rubber plastic materials compared with other heat-insulating products: FUERDA rubber plastic materials have obvious advantages when used for heat insulation of refrigeration system because it is a kind of closed-cell material with high resistance to vapor permeability. What is U.I.C.? U.I.C. is the abbreviation of Under Insulation Corrosion. It is a kind of feature reflected by invalidation of some insulation systems, i.e. the rustiness, corrosion and even penetration phenomenon of insulated pipeline or equipment because vapor or seawater permeates into insulation system. U.I.C. is the typical shortcoming of open-cell insulation system (e.g. rock wool + metal board external protection), which easily appears especially in high-humidity and high-basic salt applications like littoral industry. Thermal conductivity W/m.k In the same applied condition, the lower thermal conductivity of insulation material, the better insulating effect.
Moisture-resistant gene It represents the capacity of anti-vapor permeability. The vapor infiltration from ambient environment will increase the thermal conductivity of insulation material, so the insulating effect will be lowered and even there will be condensation and water dropping phenomenon, and also the service life of materials will be shortened. The higher moisture-resistant gene , the stronger anti-vapor permeability of insulation material and the more stable thermal conductivity.
Fireproof performance In engineering application, the fireproof grade of insulation materials needs to be Grade A incombustible or Grade B1 flame retardant. |
